1997: A Studio Is Born

Xtreme Dance Academy began in 1997 as Carrie’s Dance Creations, founded by Carrie Edwards and directed by Jessica Long. From day one, it was more than just a place to learn to dance - it was a home for kids to feel encouraged, valued, and celebrated.

2003: A New Chapter

In 2003, Jessica Long reintroduced the studio as Xtreme Dance Academy, with Ashley Hawk by her side. With their shared passion and vision, Xtreme blossomed, growing in size while staying grounded in its values.

 

2017: Continuing The Legacy

In 2017, the “X” was passed to Ashley Gooch and

Sandy Hawk, who proudly continue the legacy-committed to teaching with love, celebrating individuality, and keeping our values strong.
