Xtreme Winter Parent Handout

January & February 2010   

Welcome back to Xtreme for the final half of our year! 2010 is shaping up nicely and we are super excited for the kids….Please make sure you mark down all due dates and costume information!

v  Winter Weather:  Studio policy is we close when and if the Alamance-Burlington Schools close. All classes that are cancelled due to weather are made up by the teacher before the end of the dance season, either on a Friday or a Saturday. We will change the message on the answering machine and if possible post signs on the doors if we are closing due to weather.

v  Past Due Accounts & Tuition:  All past due account must be paid in full as soon as possible. All costumes that have a balance now have a late fee charge added. Please remember that tuition for each month is due from the 25^th of the month before and is late after the 5^th day in the month, even if the 5^th falls on a weekend! If you have questions concerning your account please contact Mrs. Jessie by email.

v  STUDIO WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY JANUARY 21^ST! Mrs. Jessie & her husband are renewing their vows on their 10^th wedding anniversary! We are sorry for any inconvenience, these classes will be made up by the end of the season.

v  Recital Orders: These include Cap Sleeve XDA T-Shirt (Tank Top), Flowers, Program Ads, Recital T-shirt…Videos are sold separately. The only thing that is a requirement for the students are the Cap Sleeve shirts. These are worn in the Dogwood Festival and the Recital performance that all the students do jointly. These order forms will go out by Monday January 11^th and all orders are due no later than March 29^th. No orders for shirts will be taken past this date.

v  Parent Observation Week: March 8^th – 12^th One parent or guardian is required to attend each of the students classes. Please note that we have a lot of information to go over on this evening and we require your patience as well as your attendance. All parents must arrive at the beginning of each class.

v  Recital Costumes: All costume needs are being posted on line and in both lobbies. You are responsible for making sure that you write down and keep up with what your student needs for each class. Please do not wait until the last minute (week before photos) to get all your costume needs together. When your costumes come in you must try them on as soon as you receive them to make sure they fit. Costumes are sized in a general manner and may require minor alterations, parents are responsible for these. If the costume is too small we need to know that same day so we can get it exchanged.

v  MINI SESSION COMING IN FEBRUARY FOR 2-5 yrs of age: 6 week Session Fridays 5:30-6:15 Ballet, Creative Movement and Acro. If you know anyone interested please send them our way!
